Yepp, it works! I have been listening to the Beatles all time since a week or so but I’m now 100% sure that they are far the best band ever. I think every member of human race needs to listen to them at least once. I wanted to share a short text part of Derek Taylor from his book “Fifty Years Adrift” which made me very impressed. Please read the excitement and enthusiasm of the people that time!
P.S.: The text is copied from the Beatles’ official website. I remember clearly when I first met (heard) Nirvana. The day was rainy, cold in Istanbul and we were riding back to home with our shuttle bus. The cassette (Yep, not a CD) was one of the girls from the upper class. It was the “Bleach”… I felt in love with that song… The lyric tells everything about a relationship and pure feelings in it, pure love or need to love… Now, after approximately 10 years I am listening to it again and feel the same as I felt that day. I just want to add some parts of lyrics Kurt Cobain has written for the rest of the world who can’t tell what they feel…
Pandora was closed to whole world except USA since some time ago but yesterday it’s been alive for the whole globe. Check it out at their new address: http://globalpandora.com Polly wants a cracker. It isn’t me. Polly wants a cracker. Polly says her back hurts. After reading in Savas Sakar’s blog, I’ve searched about SimplifyMedia, which simplifies (!) listening music at work. I couldn’t test it right now, but I think it’s a cool software. I hope it’ll work at my work, too. This is my primary job for today to go home and install it. Actually, if you have an iPod there is another way to listen to the music in your iPod without synchronizing it with iTunes. You can download floola and connect your iPod to your computer with the connection cable - start listening! Yesterday I actually forgot to mention that I was at a university fest, SUSenlik in Sabanci University. I really wanted to go there especially to see a band live - Gogol Bordello. I really liked them, I was so curious for them because after hearing the music genre they genereate (the combination of gypsy music and punk) I said myself: “What a taste of music, hell yeah!”
(They were here before in winter but I missed them because the concert was not on weekend. I was really upset but now I am happy! ;)) I just wanted to write some lyrics of them (the song is: “Dogs Were Barking” - at the time I write these I listen to this song :D):
First time I have seen this video on Youtube, I found it kinda cool. Now the duet version? Rocking! You gotta watch it… Also here: |
