Yesterday night I was back from Brussels and as soon as I woke up I wanted to write about this city - the heart of Europe…
Actually compared to my hometown Istanbul it’s a very small city but compared to others in Europe I can say it is very big. But it just takes approx. 7-8 hours to see 90% of landmarks of this city. Yepp, I did it!
This little “Manneken Pis” is a funny guy. That positin in which he pisses is really so naughty! It’s also said that sometimes he is worn with funny costumes and had also seen some photos of it.
The Grote Markt or in French called La Grand Place is the centre of the city where you can see all tourists together with cams
Actually, The place I liked at most is Place St-Gery which is similar to Nevizade area in Taksim, Istanbul, This is the place where all the trendy and cool pubs are in. I had a Vodka-Martini and it was so good!
I also recommend the Asian restaurants located near Place St-Gery in Jules van Praetstraat.
They serve delicious Thai, Chinese and Indian foods. I have eaten at the reastaurant “Thanh Binh”.
You can also find some photos in my Picasa page.

Last weekend I was with my best friends and with my girlfriend at a villa of my friend near the Sapanca lake. I can tell that I actually opened my personal tourism season so I had some sunburns
After coming home late on Sunday I woke up early (but not as early as my working days!!!) to go to my personal skill training at the Divan City Hotel, which is a nice and stylish business hotel. My training was about negotiation skills and I think in the damn business world everything has own rules, tactics - even negotiating!
Another good news for me was the transfer of Cassio Lincoln from Schalke 04 to Galatasaray! We finally bought the kind of player we needed for long time. I hope he creates wonder in Galatasaray!
I just downloaded a good compilation album: Top 200 hits of 90’s. I am listening to them as I am writing these lines. It’s kinda funny to listen to the songs which are born as you are growing… (for instance currently listening to Savage Garden - Truly, Madly, Deeply)

I didn’t have the time to write some last week. Thus, I woke up today early (but still late compared to my working days :)) and started my iTunes, connected to a 80’s radio and try now to write these.
This week, I had a intensive training for a new measurement software. 3 days I was so full of information but in the end I think I do that fucking job good
I am using FARO measurement devices. I really like it working with them and also they call I am a master of it
Yeah, I rule them real good!
I am still reading Patricia Cornwell’s book and will finish it today or maybe tomorrow. It is really a rocking thriller, so I really recommend it without reading book’s final parts.
Yesterday I was in Beylerbeyi with my friends for dinner. The Bosphorus scene and seeing old friends (who I couldn’t see long time ago) was quite a good reason to take the week’s tiredness out.
