I’ve realized that in past times there were ore visitors than today and the language of this site was Turkish. I’m waiting for your comments. Dear readers, At first I apologize from all of you because of my absence and the leak of blogging since a month but I have some excuses. I was very busy at work and like many of you I had final exams. Now all gone, I can return with many posts. Keep in touch. I’ve bought 2 new hosting packages for my 2 domains. I’m progressing very slowly, but steady. Hi people, I know, you are curious. Where did so many daily Dilbert comics come from? Actually I’ve been following Dilbert’s RSS and wanted to put really funny and good ones to my blog, too. For your information, I know it’s been ages that I’ve told you I’m finishing to develop my newsite and already bought a new domain etc. Because of work and also extra added master’s courses I can’t have enough time to spend for my website. I am very sorry because I can’t keep my promises for mudkicker.com but I will.. finish… in the… future! I’ve just purchased my new domain: www.arifender.com I’ll transfer my blog / personal site to this domain but everything related to webdesign, webprogramming etc. will stay in this site. This implementation will take a while and I’ll inform everyone about the updates. I am seeking one or two buddies for the re-design and re-development of my new site. The project will be very short and easy. People who have an interest in a collaboration with me for my website, please write a comment or pm me. (I’m very busy with my full-time work, thus I can’t give my enough effort to this project.)

Weekly Wrap-Up #1Posted by: arif in training, freeware, kaizen, weekly, ide, software, webdesign, soccer, web development, site newsI couldn’t write anything this week because I was a little cold and needed to rest evenings. I was also in a Kaizen workshop which kept me very busy. I decided to write a wrap-up and also number it with “#1″. That’s a sign I can post in this way this also later again! The first thing is Kaizen. It is a great philosophy and thanks to Toyota which company is the founder of this philosophy and also the “lean manufacturing“. I had a training on Monday for the main aspects of Kaizen and applied them in other 3 days in our production line in the plant. The second one is I’ve got a present which made me very happy. It is a very soft (I think it’s 100% polyester) football, bought from Ikea. I’d like to recommend and/or inform you a few websites I met while I was surfing whole week. For instance, I’ve been informed that the famous PHP IDE Komodo has begun to a new project called Open Komodo. It’s kinda freeware Komodo and I couldn’t try it yet but in my opinion it is worth to try it absolutely. Another useful site is the Cheat Sheet site, where you can find many reference books or “cheat sheets” for various subjects, especially about programming. The last one is related with web design and I have found it while I was surfing to find a solution to my urgent need. I was trying to find some stylish icons for my new website and found out that there is an open-source project called Tango Desktop Project. You need to look at it. I am sure you’ll need that package someday. Good morning people! There is a reason today for me to wake up because I need to finish my tasks about the new website as soon as possible. Today is the coding day! Yesterday I have changed my registrar from Turkticaret.net to Name.com because name.com gave a great “gift”: Free Google Aps! I am also planning a new project and as I get the whole idea as a project in my head, I will share it with my readers. It’s a top secret information right now, sorry! Yes, I am still working on my website project and also registered with my girlfriend to Facebook together. Why am I telling you that? I think, I can develop also some widgets for some websites like Facebook, Last.fm etc. that could be some fun, but this is a long-term idea and my first priority is to finish my new website. As an update, I can say that the database design is almost done, but I still don’t want to rush, because after going-live it would be very hard to update whole database structure and also the codes written for it. I suppose, this time will last a while but after that, it’ll go very quickly and very soft. By the way, it is very unrelated to this post’s content but I am very sorry for Sevilla player Puerta, who died yesterday after having a heart attack on the field. He was a prospective star! Rest In Peace, Puerta! |
