This week has been like a storm went over my stupid, boring life. I needed to pre-apply to the university for my postgraduate education, Thank God I was off from the work on Friday to do the things required for application. On weekend there was nothing special, played some football, watched football, went to the seaside
to play with our friend’s Labrador dog.
On Monday and Tuesday I was at a training, so I was still off (It has been 5 days in total! Woohoo!). The training was called “Applied Project Management” which I liked very much and think that it is very useful if you are tend to participate and/or manage in projects, especially in big ones. As soon as I got home, I installed MS Project to see what is it like and what can I do. Learning the methodology is the most important thing maybe but still we need to do some application, right?
Now I am back to work, sitting at my desk and writing the good days I lived last week.
Next week I’ll be away from home, as soon as I come back again, I’ll write.
P.S.: The developments of new site are still going on but with a rush change the homepage will be different. I just want your more patience for a little while.

I couldn’t write anything this week because I was a little cold and needed to rest evenings. I was also in a Kaizen workshop which kept me very busy. I decided to write a wrap-up and also number it with “#1″. That’s a sign I can post in this way this also later again!
The first thing is Kaizen. It is a great philosophy and thanks to Toyota which company is the founder of this philosophy and also the “lean manufacturing“. I had a training on Monday for the main aspects of Kaizen and applied them in other 3 days in our production line in the plant.
The second one is I’ve got a present which made me very happy. It is a very soft (I think it’s 100% polyester) football, bought from Ikea.
Now I can play football at home, too! Hooray!
I’d like to recommend and/or inform you a few websites I met while I was surfing whole week. For instance, I’ve been informed that the famous PHP IDE Komodo has begun to a new project called Open Komodo. It’s kinda freeware Komodo and I couldn’t try it yet but in my opinion it is worth to try it absolutely.
Another useful site is the Cheat Sheet site, where you can find many reference books or “cheat sheets” for various subjects, especially about programming.
The last one is related with web design and I have found it while I was surfing to find a solution to my urgent need. I was trying to find some stylish icons for my new website and found out that there is an open-source project called Tango Desktop Project. You need to look at it. I am sure you’ll need that package someday.

I didn’t have the time to write some last week. Thus, I woke up today early (but still late compared to my working days :)) and started my iTunes, connected to a 80’s radio and try now to write these.
This week, I had a intensive training for a new measurement software. 3 days I was so full of information but in the end I think I do that fucking job good
I am using FARO measurement devices. I really like it working with them and also they call I am a master of it
Yeah, I rule them real good!
I am still reading Patricia Cornwell’s book and will finish it today or maybe tomorrow. It is really a rocking thriller, so I really recommend it without reading book’s final parts.
Yesterday I was in Beylerbeyi with my friends for dinner. The Bosphorus scene and seeing old friends (who I couldn’t see long time ago) was quite a good reason to take the week’s tiredness out.
