I saw this week 2 applications I found very interesting.

One is to highlight areas on the map with JavaScript which you might use in your applications as an useful tool. Another one is Hyplet - which is a website to create yourself online id’s or personal cards.

Many of internet users, especially social networking site members know about the type of these networking sites used for professional purposes. One of the best examples for them is Linkedin, which is in my opinion a very useful site for keeping in touch with people you work or may help you in a professional way.

Yesterday, I found out that a new site has went online, Insightory. The purpose is about the same with some differences.

Insightory is a platform for management professionals, academicians and graduate business students to share their knowledge and insights with the corporate world, solve management issues collaboratively, and network with peers who have similar professional interests.

It a social platform where people from various background can com together and work things out in a collaborative way. I found this idea very cool. Let’s look at it if it will be successful or not. Personally, I’ll give it a try.

I’ve found Dilbert’s feed. Due the IT security concerns of our company its main website was blocked. After some research I have found the RSS feed of Dilbert and it really rocks!

Today I had the very first experience of “Free Friday” at work. Normally, we are not allowed to have it, but today I got it for myself, because the factory is in maintenance and there is no production for 2 weeks.

Actually, I liked this “Free Friday” idea. It feels really great.

Another thing to talk about is that I have decided to buy a MacBook, but not the Pro series the little tiny and shiny one (13.3″)

The worst thing is that it has an Intel GMA 950 graphics adapter which sucks at gaming or at the softwares which need extreme graphic performance.

But I don’t play games on PC anymore, maybe one or two but they are not in need of graphics card performance so that doesn’t bother me. (Actually I have played since 3 years only Football Manager on PC. Nothing else. )

Dear readers,

At this exact timepoint I am writing this post at my office, at the factory. I can hear that someone out there murmling “What the heck are you doing there???!! It’s Saturday mate!”

Yeah, I know… But because of my unintended lack of working time this week I had to come today and fill my working hour limit by doing an over-time work.

If I can, I want to go to the new movie of The Simpsons tonight. I am very curious for the new adventures of this crazy family.

I will post my review after watching it.

I also want to see the third movie of Shrek series if I can have time. (I just downloaded the DivX version ;))
